Description

This techo was created in collaboration with Natal Design, an apparel brand that interprets art and culture through a unique lens, translating that vision into clothing, camping gear, and more through thoughtful design and details.

Spreading vividly across the entire cover of the Weeks is the brand's iconic Lucky Swallow motif. The all-over print of swallows, birds said to bring good luck, comes alive against the chic, black background of the cover. A special texture has been applied exclusively to the swallow portions, so you can feel their distinctive surface when you run your fingertips across them.

The spine is a vivid turquoise, creating a striking contrast against the black cover.

On the front and back covers, Natal Design's logo and a message that embodies the brand's philosophy are foil-pressed in gold, catching the light elegantly as the angle shifts.

The Hobonichi Techo Weeks comes with a clear, adhesive corner pocket you can stick anywhere you like.

The pages are made of thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper that holds ink well, providing a smooth writing experience.

In addition to the monthly calendars and weekly pages, there are also plenty of grid-lined memo pages.

The back of the book contains bonus pages. Both the Japanese and English editions feature standard favourites like My 100 and the 365 Days Check-Off Sheet, as well as new additions like Phrases to Break That Writer's Block and the Hobonichi's Neighborhood: Kanda/Jinbo-cho Map, among others.

If you'd like to customise the look of your Weeks or add space to store accessories, you can pair it with a Weeks cover.

This brand was started in Tokyo in 1999 by designers Koji Tsukada and Shinsuke Goto. It interprets tradition, trends, and art through their own unique lens, defying conventions with products imbued with humour and edgy style. Their playful, inventive creations evoke strong emotions in those who wear them.

Small Details, Big Difference

  • Swallows you can feel: A special texture sits only on the birds, so your fingertips find them before your eyes do.
  • Inky black, then a jolt of turquoise: The all-over print reads as deep, lacquer black until the vivid turquoise spine catches you off guard, and the gold foil lettering shifts with the light.
  • Ready for every week: All 12 months run as horizontal weekly spreads with blank graph paper opposite, so no day arrives without somewhere to put it.
