Description

The Dominant Industry Keyno 001 Serenity Fountain Pen Ink was mixed with one pen in mind. It is a teal blue that arrives gently and then thinks better of it, deepening as it dries and breaking into soft separation wherever the stroke pools. The colour settles somewhere between still water and sea glass, which is rather the intention: Key No. 001 is the room at Hotel Keyno given over to stillness.

Flow is generous, and deliberately so — it was built to meet the Serenity pen's ebonite feed and give it something worth carrying. On paper that suits it, you watch a single shade come apart into aqua, blue and a darker undertone beneath. No shimmer, no theatrics. Just a colour that keeps moving after your hand has stopped.

Why You'll Love It

  • Colour that develops: You lay down a gentle aqua-teal and watch it deepen as it dries — the line you finish is never quite the line you started.
  • Separation worth chasing: On fountain pen friendly paper the shade blooms into aqua, blue and a darker undertone, so your swatch pages always repay a second look.
  • Flow you never manage: It stays generous and even through long sessions, and you don't find yourself coaxing a reluctant nib back to life.

Pairs with the Keyno 001 Serenity Fountain Pen, available separately at The Journal Shop.
