The company also runs Essential Store, a shop that stocks antiques, artwork, and clothing from within Japan and overseas.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eyuge fabric farm actively performs what it calls “fabric rescue”, which involves pulling old fabric from Japan and overseas out of cold storage and using it for new creations. The fabric used on this techo cover is also a precious find recovered from a factory in Hiroshima.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis fish scale pattern was popular in ancient China. According to ancient legend of China, a koi fish climbed up a waterfall and turned into a dragon. The fish scale pattern is regarded as the highest level pattern and was used as the family crest of feudal lords. It has since been handed down over time to become a famous pattern.
